Gansbaai holiday house interiorThis beautifully renovated seaside holiday house is situated between Gansbaai and De Kelders in the Overberg region of the Western Cape. Overlooking Walker Bay at 29 Kusweg, the generous elevated deck allows for the best seaview and whale watching opportunities from August to November each year. There are two barbeque (braai) areas – indoors and outdoors on the patio.

Enjoy uniterrupted seaviews from the lounge and two bedrooms. The third bedroom has a lovely garden view. The finishes are stylish and modern and care has been taken by the owners to provide everything you need for a carefree holiday at the coast.

Holiday house room 2 - the red roomThe house sleeps a maximum of 6 people in 3 bedrooms. There are 2 double rooms (with double beds) and 1 twin room (with 2 single beds). One double and the twin room have en-suite bathrooms and there is another bathroom for use by the third bedroom. High quality cotton linen and towels are provided.

The fully equipped kitchen has high quality Defy appliances, including a gas cooking hob and electric oven. A separate scullery has a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.

The lounge has a television with full DSTV and DVD player.


Southern Right Whales

The best land-based whale watching in the world between August and November. Get even closer to the whales with a boat trip departing from Gansbaai or Kleinbaai.

Great White Sharks

Boat trips to shark cage dive or enjoy surface viewing of Great White Sharks depart from nearby Kleinbaai.

Beaches and caves

A number of beautiful beaches in the area including a nearby tidal pool. The area is known for historically significant caves.
